FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

According to Decision No. 310/QD-VKHTLVN dated May 27, 2026, of the Director-General of the Viet Nam Academy for Water Resources (VAWR) stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Science and International Cooperation Department under the VAWR, the Department performs advisory and coordinating functions to assist the Director-General of the Academy in the following areas:

- Strategy and planning;

- Science, technology, and innovation;

- Professional tasks;

- Technical standards and specifications;

- National target programs;

- Intellectual property;

- Economic contracts for technology transfer;

- International cooperation;

- Information and communication

within the Academy’s mandate in accordance with the law and the Ministry’s delegation of authority.
